- Own monthly close across all entities; drive close cadence to 5–7 business days.
- Consolidate multi-entity financials with standardized chart of accounts and policies.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition, job costing, and WIP accounting.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity and reconciliation discipline.
- Lead audit readiness and lender reporting support.
- Serve as internal key owner for ERP optimization.
- Translate business requirements into system configuration.
- Own data governance, master data standards, and cutover execution.
- Lead UAT, training, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Drive process standardization enabled by ERP.
- Implement scalable internal controls and approval frameworks.
- Strengthen segregation of duties and financial governance.
- Establish consistent accounting policies across operating companies.
- Support Quality of Earnings readiness.
- Build and develop a high-performing accounting team.
- Upgrade legacy accounting talent as needed.
- Standardize workflows and accountability.
- Lead accounting and systems onboarding for acquisitions.
- Own integration playbooks related to finance and systems.
- 8-12+ years progressive accounting leadership experience.
- Prior ownership of multi-entity accounting environments and “owned” an ERP. Ideally experience in
Sage Intacct / Net Suite. - Led at least one ERP conversion.
- Experience in trade services, field services, or project-based operations.
- Strong job costing, WIP, and operational accounting exposure.
- Experience scaling organizations in PE-backed or high-growth environments.
- Proven ability to lead teams through change.
