Top firm in West Houston - Katy TX. Is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to work in the office Monday - Friday.
Responsible for performing advanced accounts payable functions with a strong emphasis on vendor management, audits, and financial accuracy. Timely processing of invoices, proper handling of vendor credits and refunds, and supports compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The position is hands-on, focusing on technical responsibilities rather than team supervision, while providing ownership of specialized AP tasks.
- Vendor Management - maintain vendor information in accounting system, monitor outstanding credits on ageing reports, contact vendors.
- Invoice processing - coding, approvals prior to posting, data entry of eCMS, reviewing edit reports.
- Audit and compliance - manage all documentation, GAAP compliant with company policies, assist with annual 1099 forms and related IRS filing.
