An oil and gas company on the northwest side of Houston is seeking an Accounting Analyst I to support owner relations and accounting inquiries. This role is responsible for responding to owner calls and emails, researching account history, and assisting with questions related to payments and transfers.

• Respond to phone and email inquiries from oil and gas well owners regarding payments received or not received
• Respond to emails assigned through Land Vantage
• Research and resolve questions related to checks, transfers, and owner account history
• Void checks as needed and document actions appropriately
• Maintain an accurate deposit tracking spreadsheet
• Manage inventory of check stock and envelope stock
• Provide clear and professional communication to owners regarding their accounts
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial and account information clearly
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  
  Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and follow‑up skills

• Pay rate: $26–$32 per hour
