Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting who is looking to continue developing their skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with monthly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
- Assist with audit support and respond to auditor requests
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management
- Support process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- 1–4+ years of accounting experience (public or industry)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Experience with accounting software / ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Quick Books, etc.)
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
