Title & Escrow Treasury Assistant

Golden Dog Title & Trust is seeking a Title & Escrow Treasury Assistant. This role will support the Accounting Team in managing treasury functions related to title & escrow operations and accounts payable duties. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in initiating wire transfers and other treasury transactions.
  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and approval in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to treasury and accounts payable functions.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation and records for audit purposes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Treasury Manager and accounting team as needed.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks to support departmental goals and initiatives.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in escrow treasury operations and/or accounts payable functions is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP).
  • Soft Pro experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is desirable.
