The ideal candidate will oversee all tax‑related decisions and activities in the organization, ensuring tax compliance and staying up‑to‑date on new tax laws.

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial operations. We require a candidate with a strong background in accounting principles, extensive experience with the Yardi software platform, and a proven track record in accounts receivable management.

Location: Houston, TX

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in Yardi software (Voyager, Breeze, etc.) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Manage and process accounts receivable functions, including billing, invoicing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize Yardi software daily to record, reconcile, and maintain all property/real estate financial transactions.
• Conduct complex bank and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are balanced and accurate.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) and management reports as required.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to ensure financial targets are met.
• Oversee payroll processing and all associated tax filings and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the management team and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Deep functional knowledge and hands‑on experience with Yardi property management software.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
