The Staff Accountant will support the finance and accounting functions by preparing, analyzing, and maintaining financial records. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting, assisting with month‑end close, and supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations. Experience in property management or construction accounting is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.
  • Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
  • Track project or property‑specific costs, as applicable.
  • Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management, construction, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred
  • Experience with property management or construction accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and reporting standards.
