A leading name in the agriculture industry, family owned and operated since 2009, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Seed Salesperson to join their team. Your interest is theirs, with 30+ years of experience in the seed industry, they know what it takes to provide their customers with a return on investment to keep family traditions alive. If you have roughly 7-10 years of successful sales experience (strongly prefer you come with an established book of business), a strong agricultural background, and are known as an "aggressive go-getter", we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity.
Position:
Seed Sales
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural clients.
- Conduct cold calls and on-site visits to build new customer relationships.
- Implement effective strategies for customer retention and satisfaction.
- Cover an agreed upon territory based on your goals, so there's freedom to make what you want to make (ask Krista for more details about the flexibility of this as you don't have to live in Missouri).
- Competitive base salary based on experience.
- A realistic first-year income potential of $70-$80k but really this depends on the person.
- Company vehicle possible, would prefer someone with one and I pay expenses. Open for discussion.
- Opportunity for career growth and advancement.
- 7-10 years of successful sales experience in the agriculture industry.
- Strong ag background with a general knowledge of seasonal expectations.
- Mix of a Hybrid/Remote role. As long as the numbers are being produced you have the freedom to work how you choose.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
