Export Operators

Right Now Group are proud to be partnering with a well-established, globally recognised freight and logistics organisation to recruit experienced Export Operators for their busy Heathrow operation on a 6-month temporary basis, with strong potential for extension. This is a key operational role, responsible for managing end-to-end air export shipments, ensuring full compliance with international regulations, and delivering outstanding service to customers and partners.

You will play an integral part in coordinating export movements, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring the smooth, efficient flow of air freight shipments through the network.

We have a range of shift patterns across days and evenings, with a pay rate of £15.18 per hour:

Mon-Fri 17:00-23:00 + Sat 12:00-17:00 (38 hrs)

Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00

• Coordinate and manage air export shipments from booking through to final departure
• Prepare and process export documentation including air waybills, customs entries, and shipping instructions
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, handling agents, and internal teams to ensure timely shipment movement
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and aviation security requirements
• Provide proactive shipment updates to customers and stakeholders
• Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues or delays
• Maintain accurate records within internal systems and ensure data integrity
• Support invoicing processes and verify supplier and carrier charges where required

• Experience in air export operations or freight forwarding
• Knowledge of air freight documentation, customs, and export procedures
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with logistics systems and Microsoft Office (preferred)
