Carpenter - Fit

Protakabin is seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Trade Carpenter to work on the internal fit-out of modular cabins. The role involves constructing internal partition walls, carrying out carpentry works, and completing associated finishing tasks including painting and decorating. The successful candidate must be able to read and work from technical drawings and be comfortable working at heights while adhering to all health and safety requirements.

• Carry out internal carpentry works within modular cabins

• Construct and install internal partition walls

• Fit doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and other second-fix carpentry items

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

• Undertake basic painting and decorating to a high standard

• Carry out general multi-trade tasks as required to complete internal fit-out works

• Work safely from heights using appropriate access equipment (steps, ladders, scaffolding, MEWPs where applicable)

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment

• Follow company health & safety policies and site procedures at all times

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Multi-Trade Operative

• CSCS CARD Required

• Strong carpentry skills with experience in internal fit-out work

• Ability to build partition walls and carry out second-fix carpentry

• Experience with painting and decorating

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings

• Confident working at heights

• Good attention to detail and workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

• Strong work ethic and professional attitude

• Flexible and willing to undertake varied tasks

• Good communication skills
