About the Role:

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical science lessons and demonstrations across all key stages.
• Ensure the safe storage and maintenance of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
• Provide technical assistance to teachers and students during practical sessions.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage and maintain laboratory resources and equipment.
• Support the Science department with administrative tasks and stock control.

Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant qualifications in science or laboratory technology (e.g., NVQ, BTEC).
• Experience working as a science technician in a school or laboratory setting.
• Strong practical skills and knowledge of laboratory procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
