If you are looking for a new and exciting career within the Electronic Lighting Industry and have previous experience of B2B sales (ideally within street lighting or other technicial/municipal industries); then we could have the perfect opportunity for you! Working in a friendly and fun environment, in a role which involves navigation through the end to end sales cycle; you will be looking to develop sales opportunities within the domestic UK and overseas markets.

Working for a well-established provider; with a proven track record and advanced technology within the street lighting market, you will be tasked with generating high volume sales to the assigned target market.

You will be part of a growing sales team and required to work between the office and in the field, assisting with training seminars and attaining new sales. The successful applicant will become the face of the company for their territories, producing content to promote these technical products. Thorough product knowledge, enthusiasm for technology and gaining industry knowledge is essential to be successful in the role.

You will report to the General Manager and become a contributor to the development of future products by reviewing customer requirements and design specifications.

A successful applicant should be able to demonstrate competency in the following:

  • Minimum 2 years' technical sales experience (ideally within the Lighting Industry)
  • Degree-level qualification (or relevant work experience)
  • Experience dealing with distributors/governments/Local councils
  • Able to converse fluently in English and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of navigating through Tenders/R.F.I's/P.Q.Q's and more complex sales processes
  • Tender/bid writing experience and good command of English Language
  • Spanish speaking skills are highly desirable (although not Essential)
  • Experience of selling via the distribution channel; in addition to direct selling, would be highly advantageous
