Great opportunity for a talented and ambitious senior sous chef to join this outstanding and prestigious and exclusive private club.
As senior sous chef you will report directly into the exec head chef with an overall team of 11 chefs. The senior sous chef should be personable and able to build relationships easily . A background of classical French would be an advantage as will having some experience of A la carte, bistro, summer BBQs and ad hoc events . The senior sous chef should pride on presentations and flavors as well as offering fresh local sourced ingredients and be creative & engaging.
The successful senior sous chef will need to have an excellent customer-facing approach and a proactive approach to client relationships. All other duties include costings, wastage, management , haccap and all other health and safety. The senior sous chef will also be happy to help the pastry chef develop pastry dishes & cakes .
