Mechanical Supervisor

Damicor are recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor at Heathrow Airport to work on a large conveyor/baggage installation project.

Although the below requirements are lengthy, we are seeking any Mechanical Supervisor's who may have the majority of this experience/knowledge.

Air conditioning

Ductwork - General Supply and Extract

• Ductwork - Fire Rated
• Ductwork - Smoke Extract
• Drop dampers
• Motorised dampers

Drainage

• Hdpe
• Terrain
• Condense Systems
• Vent Pipe Anti Syphon Systems
• Soil Vent Pipe Systems

LTHW

• Valve trains
• Drvs
• Pic valves
• Flow and Return
• Dosing Pots
• Flushing

Chilled Water

• Valve trains
• Drvs's
• Pic valves
• Flow and Return
• Dosing pots
• Flushing
• Fan coil units
• Potable Water Systems
• Non potable Systems
• Cat 5 Systems
• Chlorination

Drawings

• Understanding drawings of different systems as above.
• Understanding scale on drawings.
• Understanding notes on drawings.
• Able to mark-up drawings and produce as-builts.

Office

• Able to use Microsoft Word and produce reports
• Able to use Excel and create trackers
• Email systems such as Outlook
• Shift reports.
• Technical queries
• Rfi's

Site

• Daily mewp check sheets
• Supervisor inspections sheets
• Start of shift briefings
• Podium check sheets
• Plant inspections
• Toolbox talks
• PPE registers
• Rams briefings

Due to the environment All Candidates must Hold the Following to be considered:

• Compliant to live and work in the UK
• Willing to obtain an Airside Pass
• Willing to apply for a DBS Check
• JIB/ECS Card
• IPAF 3a & 3b

Rates are inline with JIB Rates - Basic Rates, Overtime and M&E Bonus.
Minimum of 37.5 hours per week; once completed you will be entitled to the M&E supplement Bonus Scheme.

Candidates will be joining Damicor on a PAYE Direct employment basis, this will include all benefits PAYE has to offer including; 32 days paid holiday (incl BH), private health care and life / accident insurance.
