Group Financial Controller

Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting a Group Financial Controller role with a growing SME based in Swindon. This is a technically focussed role that would suit an ambitious and forward thinking individual with a strong reporting or audit background. The role The Group Financial Controller will oversee the day to day running of the finance team (5-10) which will include but not be limited to:
Statutory reporting and managing the year end process. Liaising with external auditors and managing the audit. Maintaining accounting controls under IFRS and making improvements where appropriate. Overseeing the month end process. Team management to include 1:1s, performance reviews, development and upskilling where required. Business partnering with the senior leadership team. Cashflow forecasting, managing forex and international payments/transactions. Budgeting and forecasting.

Profile The Group Financial Controller role would suit someone with proven leadership experience, a can-do attitude and a strong technical accounting background. Desired key skills attributes include: ACA/ACCA qualified from a top 20 recognised firm with 4 years PQE.

Experience of auditing or working in large/complex organisations. Forward-thinking, can-do attitude with a solutions orientated mindset. Proven leadership experience, preferably with experience of developing teams. Driven, ambitious and career orientated. Package £75-95k base salary. Bonus scheme.
