Interim Financial Controller - LATco - South West England
A local government client in the South West of England is creating a new LATco (Local Authority Trading Company) to deliver waste and recycling services and needs an Interim Finance Business Partner/Financial Controller to create the accounts for the LATco.
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential to become permanent thereafter).
Rate: DOE.
Hybrid: 1 day per week in office (some flexibility).
Start Date: Mid to Late January.
You will be expected to run the service, set up the schedule of accounts, financial control process, procurement structure, etc.
Essential qualifications:
- A fully qualified accountant.
- Experience working for a LATco, trading environment, local enterprise partnership, etc.; commercially minded.
- Experience with in local government and familiarity with local authority legislations.
- Extensive experience creating a schedule of accounts.
