Responsibilities

Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging Primary lessons.
Working with small groups to improve literacy and numeracy levels.
Providing 1:1 support for students with additional learning needs or EHC Plans.
Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and displays.
Promoting an inclusive learning environment for all children.
Supervising students during break times and school trips.

Essential Candidate Requirements

Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.
Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades 9-4/A*-C) including English and Maths.
A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting learners.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Strong communication skills and effective teamwork.
Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable.
