About This RoleR.R. Cassidy is seeking a reliable and skilled Job Site Driver (CDL) to support job‑site operations by transporting equipment, materials, and crew as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, driving commercial vehicles, and assisting with general labor tasks to keep the job site running smoothly.
Responsibilities- Perform groundwork to help crews as needed.
- Travel throughout the Southeast United States 80%-100% of the time.
- Travel to Prairieville for 1 week of training before each hitch.
- Accept company coverage of hotels, travel expenses, per‑diem of $50/day, and transportation methods from Prairieville, LA.
- Operate and drive commercial vehicles such as water trucks, dump trucks, and equipment haulers.
- Transport heavy equipment and materials safely and efficiently to and from job sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and supplies.
- Provide general labor and operational support on site as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and DOT requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to coordinate transportation and job‑site needs.
- Valid CDL (Class A or
B) with a clean driving record. - No automatic restrictions; must be able to drive a manual transmission.
- Experience operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles.
- Ability to perform general labor tasks in a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
