Commercial Electrician

Overview

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Commercial Electrical Journeyman to join a team supporting a large-scale commercial construction project in Houma, LA. Beginning of project will include running PVC underground. Mud boots required.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Supervise and guide apprentices or helpers on job sites
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols on job sites

• Valid journeyman electrician license (state-specific)
• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and building codes
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work on commercial construction sites (indoor/outdoor)
• Use of ladders, lifts, and required PPE
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
• Work may involve exposure to variable weather conditions and physical demands
