• The Branch Manager oversees daily store operations to achieve or surpass sales and margin goals, promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, managing inventory levels, and controlling expenses through purchase monitoring.
• Ensure facility and staff adherence to safety and regulatory standards, guide team members in providing efficient customer service, maintain good housekeeping, and optimize overall operational efficiency.
• Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and call in product, pricing, and technical inquiries.
• Support the outside sales team in maintaining existing client relationships and securing new business.
• Ensure accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits.
• Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports.
• Manage and establish appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch.
• Supervise and conduct training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety, ensuring all associates can execute essential branch functions.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.
• Act as a liaison between employees and management, offering performance guidance and direction in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in a science, business, or related field. Four years of additional related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the sales and distribution of industrial gases, welding supplies, or similar industrial products.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a managerial capacity.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, MSDS, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to promote a team player attitude and effectively work with a diverse group of people with different personalities and backgrounds.

• Strong retail sales and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of welding applications and equipment.
