Field Sales Representative - Houghton-le-Spring

Contract Type:

Salary: £29,033 base plus up to £8,000 bonus (OTE)

About Your Role

As a Field Sales Representative, you will report to a local Field Sales Manager and deliver sales targets within an existing customer base by maintaining ongoing relationships and creating new business opportunities whilst becoming an expert in the soft drinks category. The customers you will be interacting with will vary by location, but typically include independent convenience stores, licensed pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes.

You will focus on promoting brands and solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales targets within an existing customer base.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with customers.
  • Create new business opportunities within the soft drinks category.
  • Promote brands and solutions that align with business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence or equivalent.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Living within a 60‑minute commute from Houghton‑le‑Spring.
  • Experience driving positive outcomes with customers through commercial, fact‑based conversations.
  • Experience with manual handling of products, point of sale and/or equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using digital technologies such as iPhone and iPad to support sales activities, communication, and reporting.
  • Strong ability to independently manage workload and schedule while meeting key targets.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills, ensuring efficiency and managing multiple tasks effectively.
