Position Overview

As a Quality Engineer at Lear, you will play a critical role in ensuring world-class standards across our manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Quality Engineer, you will lead quality initiatives, solve complex problems, and support new project launches. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll influence strategic decisions and champion continuous improvement to deliver exceptional results for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with IATF
    16949, ISO standards, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Perform and monitor SPC activities for current production and new project launches.
  • Conduct and maintain MSA studies to validate measurement system accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze SPC/MSA results, identify trends, and lead root cause investigations for deviations.
  • Lead structured problem‑solving using 8D, DMAIC, and other methodologies.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Support PPAP submissions and APQP deliverables for new product launches.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and drive continuous improvement.
Key skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Solid analytical mindset with 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in using core quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC and MSA.
  • Knowledge of IATF standards and problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a passion for continuous improvement
