Position Summary

Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides skilled physical therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician and outlined in the plan of care. This role supports high-quality patient care while maintaining safety, professionalism, and compliance.

• Deliver skilled physical therapy services to patients with injuries, disabilities, or functional limitations.
• Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, functional training, modalities, and patient education.
• Accurately document daily treatments and patient progress in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses and report significant changes to the Physical Therapist and referring physician.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to support independence and recovery.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PTA license/registration in the state of practice.
• Experience treating acute and chronic conditions preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient care demands.
• Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus).

• Pay: $30–$33 per hour
• Three weeks of Paid Time Off, with the option to roll one week into the next year
