We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Compliance Coordinator. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Compliance Coordinator supports the casino's regulatory compliance program by assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and documentation of policies and procedures designed to ensure adherence to federal, state, and internal regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Title 31 / Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance, internal controls, and operational risk monitoring. The role requires strong attention to detail, discretion, cross-department communication, and the ability to work with sensitive information in a regulated gaming environment.
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Act in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with Title 31, BSA, AML, and related regulatory requirements.
- Support reporting and recordkeeping requirements, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and associated documentation filed with Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
- Monitor daily transactions and exception reports for suspicious activity, structuring, or unusual patterns.
- Conduct patron transaction reviews and assist with investigations of potential AML concerns.
- Perform routine compliance testing of Cage, Slots, Table Games, Sports book, and other operational areas.
- Conduct reviews of internal controls to ensure adherence to approved policies and procedures.
- Document findings, track corrective actions, and follow up with departments to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accurate compliance logs, tracking spreadsheets, and regulatory files.
- Ensure proper retention of required compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory timelines.
- Assist with preparation of materials for regulatory examinations and audits.
- Assist in drafting, updating, and distributing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance policies.
- Ensure departments receive updated procedures and maintain acknowledgment records.
- Support internal control revisions when operational or regulatory changes occur.
- Assist in the coordination and documentation of compliance training for team members.
- Provide guidance to employees on compliance-related questions, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a culture of compliance through professional, supportive communication.
- Assist in gathering documentation and data for internal investigations.
- Support review of exception reports, variances, and compliance-related incidents.
- Maintain confidentiality and chain of custody of sensitive information.
- Help prepare for state and federal audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Compile requested documentation and reports for regulators and internal auditors.
- Track regulatory findings and assist with corrective action plans.

- Associate's degree (A.A.) in Business or related field; one or more years' experience in compliance or governmental affairs; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Casino experience required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (World, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of Casino Operations software and equipment.
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities.
Evaluates team members within department and deliver constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
