Counter Sales Person – Elliott Electric Supply

The Counter Sales Person is responsible for providing assistance to customers throughout the sales and purchase process and for responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner. They maintain awareness of all product information, promotions, and advertisements, market all products sold, and suggest replacement or alternative products when appropriate.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
• Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong mathematical ability.
• Basic familiarity with the use of a personal computer.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal formats.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills, including ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone.
• Ability to bend, climb, push, pull, and maneuver at heights and in tight or small spaces.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport work‑related materials that frequently weigh up to 70 lbs., and occasionally exceed 70 lbs.
