Job Description
Eurofins Environmental Testing Philadelphia is a full-service environmental laboratory that has provided analytical chemistry and microbiological services since 1943. The analytical product array focuses on testing services that support regulatory and monitoring requirements. Data are produced within a quality system framework to provide an accurate portrayal of a sample and empower clients to make informed decisions regarding regulatory compliance.
Eurofins is seeking a Field Technician located in the Horsham, PA region. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm with overtime as needed. Compensation range - $17-20/hour based on field experience. This position will drive the company vehicle and requires a valid driver’s license.
The company will provide all required training and a vehicle for use during work hours.

- Collect field samples in assigned area from clients.
- Plan and complete daily routes; notify supervisor of changes.
- Prepare and deliver sample containers/materials to clients.
- Transport, set up, troubleshoot and break down field sampling equipment.
- Communicate with customers about sample collection timelines and access requirements.
- Provide timeline and sample updates to supervisor and laboratory.
- Perform on-site testing as required; record data and submit required documents.
- Transport samples to the laboratory with proper custody documentation; coordinate with other technicians as needed.
- Drive safely and maintain assigned vehicle; observe OSHA safety requirements.
- Maintain documentation/records for field sampling and logbook records.
- Support flexible hours, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
- 2-4 years experience in environmental and monitoring well sampling (preferred but not required; training provided).
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, or earth sciences is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may involve field conditions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; professional English proficiency (read, write, speak).
- Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills; ability to use Laboratory Information Management System.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with field equipment (meters, pumps, auto samplers) is preferred.
