Role Summary
The Military Veteran Leadership Development Program (MVLDP) is an 18-month, multi-rotation program designed to develop highly motivated, experienced military leaders into leaders within Johnson & Johnson. Participants gain enterprise exposure across cross-functional and cross-sector rotations, build a network with senior leaders, and develop capabilities through structured rotations in areas such as Supply Chain, Human Resources, Marketing, Procurement, Brand Management, and Sales.
Upon successful program completion, participants transition into full-time roles within the company.
- Provide military leaders with a structured pathway to transition to a corporate career with Johnson & Johnson
- Experience rich enterprise exposure, cross-functional and cross-sector rotations, and programmatic curriculum
- Build a network of strong relationships with cross-functional and cross-sector leaders
- Develop critical capabilities and experience the breadth and depth of Johnson & Johnson through robust rotations chosen based on personal development, experience, interest, and business need; after completion, move into full-time roles
- Participations will rotate across functions (e.g., Supply Chain, Human Resources, Marketing, Procurement, Brand Management, Sales) and influence business outcomes across Med Tech and Innovative Medicine
- Must be transitioning from active-duty military service or within 4 years of separation; 0-2 years transitioning from active-duty preferred
- A minimum of 4 years military leadership experience required; 5-10 years preferred
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required;
Advanced Degree preferred - Relocation to the New Jersey or Pennsylvania area for the duration of the program is required
Demonstrated successful experience as a people manager and/or leader with a proven track record - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver results
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Desire to translate military experience into a healthcare career with Johnson & Johnson
- Bachelor’s Degree required;
Advanced Degree preferred
