Supply Planning Coordinator

• Monitor sales orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment and collaborate with the Planning and Operations to resolve critical situations.
• Communicate with Customer Service and Sales to propose short and medium term solutions to overcome and prevent critical situations.
• Collaborate with Planning Department and Sales to shape demand based on historical and forecasted data.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock and coordinating with suppliers or Planning Department for replenishment.
• Request regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Work with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and optimize storage.
• Coordinate with the Logistics and Transportation Department to ensure smooth logistics execution.
• Ensure timely availability of products to achieve cost-effective transportation to internal and external Customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers to address concerns and ensure alignment with Sofidel America’s standards and expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of all supply chain activities, including purchase orders, inventory levels, and shipments.
• Generate regular reports on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in supply chain management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
