MissionThe Health and Safety Manager will champion a strong, sustainable safety culture across all operations — fostering safe behaviors, visible leadership, and a shared commitment to preventing injuries and protecting people. This role drives the continuous improvement of health and safety performance by engaging teams, strengthening compliance systems, and embedding safety into every aspect of daily operations. The Manager will lead and execute H&S programs across manufacturing site, ensuring effective incident management, training, behavioral safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
The position also supports Process Safety Management (PSM) activities at the site — including PHA, MOC, and PSSR — and contributes to capital project development to ensure safety integration from design to execution. As a safety leader, this role will serve as a key sponsor of the Vision Zero principles, aligning with the company’s global ambition while driving practical, site-level actions that make safety a natural part of how work gets done.
- 5+ years of experience as a hands‑on safety professional responsible for implementing and enforcing safety programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (environmental science, public health, etc.).
- Experience developing, delivering, and documenting training programs.
- Experience in OSHA record keeping.
- Experience leading safety audits and inspections.
- Familiar with OSHA 18001 a plus.
- Knowledge of risk management and project management a plus.
- Willingness to travel (20%).

Capability to provide leadership and guidance to ensure health and safety compliance.

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

- Excellent interpersonal skills dealing effectively with all regulatory agencies and local/County/State officials as required.
- Excellent organizational, planning, influence, presentation, and follow-up skills including a "can do" attitude, and a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to work in and lead cross‑functional teams across multiple sites.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis of data.
