The Visitor Desk Attendant serves as the first point of contact for all guests entering the school. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized environment. Responsibilities include greeting and checking in visitors/students, answering phones, monitoring access, and supporting administrative staff with basic clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet all students, visitors, parents, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure all visitors follow proper sign-in and identification procedures.
- Issue visitor badges and maintain accurate visitor logs.
- Communicate with school staff regarding visitor arrivals and appointments.
- Monitor security cameras and access points.
- Respond to inquiries from the public, students, and staff in a courteous manner.
- Provide basic directions and information about school policies and procedures.
- Assist with emergency drills and procedures as needed.
- Assist security personnel during student arrival and departure.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
