Sofidel America is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to support accounts payable and core accounting operations, with a strong focus on hands-on execution, financial accuracy, internal controls, and timely month-end close activities. The Accounts Payable Supervisor works closely with Finance, Treasury, SAP, and VIM teams to ensure continuity during month-end close and audit-related activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accounting reconciliations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transitory accounts.
- Manage and execute payment runs to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Provide operational support for month-end close activities.
- Perform clearing activities and actively monitor and resolve open items.
- Coordinate closely with SAP and VIM teams to ensure proper invoice processing and posting.
- Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions and statements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Identify and support process improvements related to accounts payable and accounting operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounts payable or accounting operations.
- Hands-on experience supporting month-end close and reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of SAP and VIM strongly preferred.
- Experience with payment processing and invoice workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
