Maintenance - Handy Man

Our client, a reputable company based in Storrington, United Kingdom, is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance - Handy Man to join their team on a full-time basis.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
• Conduct repairs and troubleshoot issues with building systems and equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks
• Monitor building systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
• Inspect and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the building
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs and maintenance projects
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Report any major issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Assist with other tasks and projects as needed

• Proven experience as a Maintenance - Handy Man or similar role
• Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Basic understanding of carpentry and painting techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
