Overview
+ Patient-Centred Approach:
Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions to support individuals with a variety of physical and mental health conditions. + Collaborative Work:
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, nurses, and doctors, to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs. You will also have opportunities to teach patients, their carers and your peers. + Clinical Excellence:
Stay at the forefront of advancements in occupational therapy, continuously improving your practice and ensuring that interventions reflect the latest evidence-based practices. Learning, developing and adapting to change will be evidenced in your CPD. + Organisation and time management:
Managing your own caseload and prioritising visits and responsibilities under supervision of your senior. + Representation and Inspiration:
Supporting the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services, setting the standard for practice and patient care.

We re currently seeking a static Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our Community Therapy Team North, covering Mid-Sussex, Crawley and Horsham. In this rewarding role, you ll deliver holistic, person-centred rehabilitation within a supportive and well-established Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), working across diverse community settings. Our service operates Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm, offering flexible working arrangements to support both staff and service users.
You will gain physical health community experience, working alongside other junior and senior staff. You will have the opportunity to enjoy an in-depth learning experience working with caseloads of patients within an MDT. We encourage development of core OT skills within a supportive environment. We are committed to your growth with a strong focus on teaching and development including regular in-service training, protected CPD time and a band 5 peer support group.
