Hours per week

10 hours per day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9.30am-8.00pm (with a half hour unpaid break during the day). These are indicative hours only, there may be some flexibility with these times.

Hourly pay rate

£13.60

I am looking for Female Support Workers/PAs to provide support to my 92 year old mother.

She has mixed dementia (vascular dementia) and Alzheimer's and uses mobility aids and a wheelchair. She can mobilise but can no longer walk.

Duties
  • Support with washing, toileting/changing pads, dressing, prompting with eating/drinking, administering medication, mobilising and transferring.
  • Carry out domestic tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning/tidying, laundry.

Candidate Qualities

  • Experienced in working with people with advanced dementia and able to manage behavioural challenges and not take them personally
Additional Requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours.
