The RoleAs a Paraplanner, you will provide technical support to financial advisers and help drive high-quality financial planning. This position suits someone analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a passion for ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support adviser recommendations.
- Gather, organise and assess client financial information (income, expenditure, assets, liabilities).
- Use financial planning software to model scenarios and build projections.
- Prepare and review investment proposals and client reports.
- Collaborate with advisers to develop tailored financial strategies.
- Carry out product research and remain up to date on market developments.
- Ensure adherence to FCA regulations and internal compliance processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Support the wider team with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications- Working towards or holding the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
- Ambition to achieve Chartered status (fully supported).
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (grade A*–C / 9–4), including Maths and English.
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, personal tax, protection and estate planning.
- Ability to perform basic tax calculations.
- Previous experience supporting financial advisers or working in a similar environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using financial planning/back-office systems (, Genovo, Intelliflo) is advantageous.
- High level of professional integrity and client focus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
