This Component Engineer position focuses on product data accuracy, part number creation, bill-of-material (BOM) control, supplier liaison, and maintaining precise technical information within an MRP environment. The role requires strong critical thinking, structured documentation, and confidence handling electronic component data.
Responsibilities
 
* Create and maintain product records, including part numbers and BOMs, within an MRP system.
 
* Review technical data sheets, drawings, and supplier information to ensure accuracy.
 
* Support engineering and quality teams with product information, inspection requirements, and verification tasks.
 
* Manage updates to existing product data, ensuring consistency and traceability.
 
* Assist with product inspection guidance when required.
 
* Maintain reliable document control and version management.
