Overview

Location: Horsham & Surrounding Areas Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible Days Daily Rate: £89.05 – £110 Hours: School hours (typically 08:30 – 15:30)

Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour or emotional needs
  • Helping children stay focused, motivated, and positively engaged in lessons
  • Using de‑escalation strategies and promoting positive behaviour choices
  • Assisting teachers with routines, classroom activities, and behaviour plans
  • Building trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe and understood
  • Adapting to different school settings, age groups, and individual needs
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, care, mentoring, etc.)
  • A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
  • Confidence supporting pupils with behavioural or emotional needs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
