Michael Page are actively working with a notable business in North Leeds, who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. My client is looking for a proactive profile that has a strong skillset in month end management accounts, and is looking to further their skills in a commercial and progressive role. This is a perfect opportunity for ACCA, CIMA studiers who are on the way to finishing their qualifications looking to take the next step in their career.

• Processing of financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
• Reconciliation of intercompany trading accounts.
• Analysing monthly financial information.
• Assist in preparation of balance sheets and supporting schedules.
• Responsible for specific month end accruals and journal postings.
• Support in year-end statutory audit and SOx audit.
• Working on ad-hoc requests and admin as required.
• Continuous improvement - always be alert to opportunities for process efficiencies, automation and simplification.

• Part Qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA
• Experience in a similar Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, or Practice Accounting role
• Key attention to detail
• Love working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to present financial information to other departments
• Progression focused

• A competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £36,000 per annum.
