THE ROLE:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and services.
* Input cost data into the company database (Excel).
* Identify and address discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
* Review and process all Requests for Quotes (RFQs) from customers and sales team members with a focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
* Communicate directly with both external and internal sales teams regarding RFQ-related questions or issues.
* Produce CAD drawings as required.
* Ensure all drawings are stored and filed according to company policy.
* Collaborate with the internal team to review and improve processes.
* Support product and process standardization and new product development.
* Update the company's CRM system with pricing and other relevant information.
* Uphold high ethical standards in all dealings.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues to enhance sales efforts.
* Undertake any other duties as assigned.
THE CANDIDATE:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is desirable.
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment is an advantage.
* Possess a problem-solving, solution-oriented mindset.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Confident telephone manner.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of prioritizing workload effectively.
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Hours:
39 hours per week.
Work Setting:
Office-based.
In-house training will be provided.
Modern office environment.
