Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £450 - £500 per week dependant on experience and qualifications.
The School and RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team this January, supporting a child with SEMH needs in Year
3. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in their learning and development at a crucial stage in their education. Are you equipped to assist with lesson preparation, helping to get the child ready to participate, pay attention, and contribute. The school in Leeds (LS18) will require you to provide one‑on‑one support for the pupil, supporting them with their daily learning.
There will be a combination of delivery of targeted intervention, tailored support and even whole class support when required. Starting this role through a supply route, there is potential to move across on to the school’s books for the right candidate.
8:30 am – 3:30 pm – Full time 5 days per week from January 2026
Requirements- Previous experience working with SEND children in an educational setting.
- A deep understanding of the National Curriculum framework or a willingness to learn this.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
- Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.)
