Join Our Client's Team as a Maintenance Manager!

Are you a hands-on maintenance expert with a passion for keeping environments in top shape? Our client is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee all in-house maintenance operations at their vibrant site. If you are ready to lead a team, manage diverse maintenance tasks, and ensure a safe, inviting space for everyone, we want to hear from you!

Contract Type:
Permanent

Working Pattern:
Full Time, 40 hours per week, 5/7 shift pattern including split shifts

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be the backbone of our client s maintenance operations, responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the planning, coordination, and delivery of all maintenance and repair works.
  • Completing office condition reports and preparing costings for redecoration works.
  • Overseeing hands-on maintenance activities, including basic plumbing, changing light fittings, and responding to tenant requests.
  • Managing a Maintenance Support Operative and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management:
    Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Team Supervision:
    Allocate work, monitor performance, and support the development of your team.
  • Communication:
    Act as the main point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance matters.
  • Customer Service:
    Handle maintenance requests with a customer-centric approach to resolve issues promptly.
  • Stock Management:
    Oversee maintenance stock, ensuring materials are ordered and stored appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in maintenance, with skills in painting, decorating, carpet laying, carpentry, and more.
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations and certifications in health and hygiene, First Aid, and Fire Marshal Training.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
