We are seeking a highly specialist and experienced Locum Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Hornchurch. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a community rehabilitation setting, providing specialist assessment and treatment to patients with new stroke diagnoses. If you have a passion for neurorehabilitation and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply.

• Develop and implement highly specialist assessments and treatment programmes for patients with new stroke diagnoses.
• Create appropriate resources for therapeutic intervention.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide community rehabilitation services and foster a self-management approach with patients and their families.
• Ensure effective communication and swallowing interventions.

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Highly specialist experience in community rehabilitation for patients with new stroke diagnoses
• Ability to develop and implement specialist assessments and treatment programmes
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
