Driver - Class 2 Nights

Delivery Driver – Must have Class 2 – Nights – Permanent – Based Thetford Area

£13.75-£17.19 per hour, depending on experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver Class 2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to their customers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

• Safely operate a 12t curtain sider truck for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Day runs into working away from site 3-4 nights per week (Night Out premium applies).
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, handball and/or palletised, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
• Navigate assigned delivery routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transit.

• Proven experience as a Class 2 Delivery Driver in a similar role is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is required.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is desirable.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed throughout the day.
• Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roads is beneficial.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
