Location: Tetford

We are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer with 2+ years’ experience to join our clients multidisciplinary contractor design team. You will work on a wide range of building and civil engineering projects valued from £100k to £30m+, spanning sectors including education, retail, commercial, industrial, offices, healthcare, research facilities, and award‑winning decarbonisation and residential schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with structural analysis, design, and modelling across multiple project types
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and specifications in line with relevant British and European Standards
  • Support the production of coordinated designs within BIM workflows
  • Contribute to site inspections, verification, and technical problem‑solving
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver fully integrated solutions
  • Participate in technical reviews, design meetings, and project coordination sessions
  • Support senior engineers and project managers in project delivery
Skills & Knowledge
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent)
  • 2+ years’ relevant structural engineering experience
  • Familiarity with structural steel, concrete, and general construction detailing
  • Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software
  • Understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and UK design codes
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
