The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with their leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve them. To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager leads a team of Assistant Managers and Shift Managers with specific responsibilities.

This includes helping managers set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their departments. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong team for the future.

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations. A background in quick-service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
