Inventory Production Operations Specialist

Mission of Department

To maintain the Hospital and campus in a clean, orderly and attractive condition with a commitment to keep equipment and emergency services in the highest quality achievable. To create an atmosphere, which includes all buildings, that is safe, clean and promotes the well being of all patients, visitors and staff.

To prepare and maintain the area of assigned responsibility and assist coworkers if needed in their task. To provide customers a high level of satisfaction of their surroundings.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift and carry moderately heavy objects not usually in excess of 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders, work in dusty environments, hot and cold atmospheres, operate various types of housekeeping equipment, electrical and non-electrical.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, kneel and stoop.
• Essential job functions of this position require physical mobility and agility of upper and lower extremities as well as fine motor hand movements.
• Must be adaptable and flexible to unplanned events, changes in task and a variety of assignments as the scope of the operation dictates.
• Complete linen deliveries on a daily basis and insure orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Deliver and maintain accurate linen inventories.
• Poses critical thinking and record keeping techniques pertinent to linen distribution.
• Knows the Hospital Mission Statement.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Worked in an housekeeping and laundry environment.
• Monday - Friday 0530 - 1400.
