How you will impact Southern States Cooperative:

Performs maintenance and repair of Southern States Cooperative, Inc. (SSC) fleet vehicles, on & off-road equipment, rolling stock, and stationary equipment within the designated district. Uses mechanical and automotive expertise to maintain and repair specialized vehicles used in fertilizer and crop protect ant application, refined fuels delivery, and commercial delivery of bulk and packaged merchandise. Adheres strictly to government regulations and SSC operating procedures.

• Maintain regular communication with facility leadership regarding daily service, maintenance, and repair of SSC fleet vehicles and related equipment. Provide updates on schedule, job progress, supply of materials and parts, and other critical factors.

What you need to succeed:

Requires knowledge of mechanical and automotive systems, with the ability to learn and develop repair and maintenance skills in a trainee role. Previous Southern States work experience is a plus.

Education: Requires a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
