ENT Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant - Full Time
Jennie Stuart Health seeks a certified ENT medical assistant to provide patient care in an office setting under the supervision of medical providers. The role involves meeting the communication needs of patients, families, and medical providers, maintaining regulatory requirements, and managing medical records.
Required Skills- Welcoming patients and visitors.
- Answering and referring inquiries within scope of practice.
- Answering telephone and processing calls, documenting appropriately in medical records, and returning messages in a timely manner.
- Maintaining communication between medical staff, administrative staff, and patient/families.
- Maintains and updates medical records.
- Schedules appointments.
- Facilitates medical requests (refill requests, work/school notes, form completion).
- Scans and uploads patient clinical documents into the medical chart.
- Coordinates all medical provider orders (diagnostic, referral, pharmaceutical, surgical).
- Reviews daily provider schedule and ensures all supplies and records are ready.
- Provides patient education as directed by the provider and within scope of practice.
- Ensures all equipment in exam and surgical rooms is clean and properly set up.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of personal workspace and department.
- Monitors clinical supply levels and requests replenishment when needed.
- Maintains all clinical equipment and reports damage or maintenance needs.
- Minimum education:
Graduate of a medical assistant program. - Preferred:
Previous experience in a medical practice. - Required certification:
Basic Life Support Certification. - Preferred:
Registered with American Medical Technologists or Certified with American Association of Medical Assistants.

- Administering medications, including injections.
