This is more than just an athletic training role; it’s an opportunity to be part of the Army’s largest human performance initiative. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll help improve soldier readiness, including increasing Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) pass rates, reducing injuries, and enhancing behavioral health. • Provide prevention, injury management, and rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Implement performance optimization strategies across physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, and spiritual domains.
  • Support unit leaders with evidence-based injury prevention and recovery strategies.
  • Use data and tools from CIMT to track and improve performance outcomes.
  • Help improve soldier performance, ACFT pass rates, and resilience.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Graduate from a CAATE-accredited program; passing BOC score; NPI number.
  • Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, D.C., or U.S. territories.
  • At least two years of relevant athletic training experience within the last three years, preferably with active populations.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and maintain current physical and immunizations.
Physical Demands
  • Work is on-site, fast-paced, requiring adaptability. Must lift up to 45 lbs, be able to stand for extended periods, and work outdoors with supplies.
