Responsibilities
- Eval mfg processes based on quality criteria.
- Study production and machine reqs.
- Develop auto/manual systems.
- Design/install equipment.
- Organize mfg workflows, resources.
- Integrate disparate systems.
- Optimize layouts, production lines, machine ops, network performance.
- Resolve production issues.
- Reduce costs and maximize quality.
- Train staff.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure that mfg follow safety and environmental regulations.
- Upgrade systems/processes with new tech.
- Reqd: BS in Supply Chain or Indus/Mfg Eng; 2 yrs exp as a mfg eng incl processes, fabrication methods, tool design, mfg equipment, and quality assurance.
